Scott Hull Scholarship
Scott Hull (Class of ‘73) was a longtime coach at Windsor High School for both the Boys (JV-B & Frosh) and Girls (Varsity) programs. The Scott Hull Scholarship will be awarded each year to two Seniors, one from the Boys basketball team and one from the Girls basketball team. Chosen by the coaching staff of both programs, the deserving recipients will best exemplify the values of integrity, teamwork, and excellence on and off the court. AWARD: $500 Each.

Harry Ladue
Coach Ladue (Class of '71) began coaching in 1976 at the sub-varsity level, becoming varsity coach in 1983 and retired in 2022 after his 39th year at Windsor High School. During those 39 years, his teams won 475 games, 10 league championships, made 14 final four appearances, 9 trips to the finals and won 5 state championships. He was a former President and active member of the VBCA. He has greatly enriched the Windsor community for the better part of his adult life as the town's Recreation Director for 25 years. John Barth
Coach Barth (Class of '57) coached boys’ basketball from 1964 to 1983 and girls’ basketball from 1993 to 1996. His boys’ teams won over 200 games and his girls’ teams were 70-2 over those three years. His 1978 boys’ team were DI state champs and New England runner-up. His girls’ teams were in the finals from 1993-1996, winning championships in ‘94 and ‘96. He is a former VT - NH All Star Game coach and a member of the Castleton University Hall of Fame. Coach John Barth passed away in May of 2021 at the age of 81.
Don Swinyer "Bird"
Coach Don Swinyer (Class of '77) began with the Windsor Boys basketball program in 1983 as the JV Head Coach and later in 2010 as Varsity Assistant. Throughout his 39 years in the program, he was instrumental in preparing underclassmen in the fundamentals of the game, which would lead to later success at the varsity level. With Bird's excellent preparation, the Windsor boys' found success at the JV level as well as in deep playoff runs when they reached varsity. Coach Swinyer retired in 2022 with Coach Ladue.
